At Let's Go Camping Ltd., we are always fielding different questions that might be out of the ordinary from the usual travel holidays. We've taken the time to put together this list of our 10 most frequently asked questions. If you still can't find the answers you are looking for, please feel free to contact us.

  1. Will my child be camping in the Canadian wilderness?
    No. LET'S GO CAMPING uses provincial parks and selected private campgrounds that are rated safe, clean and friendly. We do not hike into our campsite. Our bus will drive us right into the campground and drop us off.
  2. Will we get picked up at the airport?
    Yes. LET'S GO CAMPING will pick you up at either the Victoria or Vancouver, British Columbia International Airports.
  3. How many miles do we travel in a day?
    We try to keep our travel days to an average of 400 kilometres each day we travel. We never travel on consecutive days. Depending on the itinerary, we may stay in one particular campground for three or four days.
  4. Where will you drop us off?
    We will drop you or your group off at either the Victoria or Vancouver airport. Or if you wish, a hotel you have booked in advance in either Victoria or Vancouver.
  5. What clothing should I bring?
    You should bring comfortable summer clothes including bathing suit. You should also bring walking or hiking shoes and a sweater or light jacket for cooler nights when we are in the mountains.
  6. What kind of activities will we be doing?
    LET'S GO CAMPING always designs its days to be busy. Nature walking and hiking are a big part of our summer programs. We also spend time swimming in lakes or visiting waterslide parks. We will sightsee and plan many other outdoor events, from canoeing to playing volleyball, from singing songs around the campfire to participating in interpretative programs. Whatever our staff plans for the day we guarantee much fun and excitement. Don't forget to bring your camera!
  7. What about showers?
    There is always time to take showers on a daily basis. All campgrounds we visit have shower facilities.
  8. What about laundry?
    Some campgrounds we visit have laundry facilities and laundry can be done when time permits.
  9. Who do we make our check payable to?
    As an affiliate of THOMAS COOK TRAVEL and in order to guarantee your money and trip departure, we ask that all trips are made payable to THOMAS COOK TRAVEL.
  10. What will the weather be like?
    Days can be hot and fluctuate around 30 degrees Celsius and nights can be cool, going down to 20 degrees Celsius.
